Yes, yes I'm back to blogging however I am sure no one reads it anymore since it has been 5 months since I was on here last. Long crazy summer, Ryan's friend passed away, weddings, babies born, we moved again......long story but it worked out better in the long run. We are headed for court in October though with the owner of the last house because he broke the contract. Cross your fingers we win! School, football again, dance class and so on & so on. Andee has started 1st grade and Greyson has started 3rd. They both seem to be loving it this year. Even Greyson is doing ok so far but it is early in the year still so I won't hold my breath. We are slowly getting settled in the new house, as quick as possible I guess with kids, dogs, cats, goats & a horse. We definitley like this property better and we are still in Huntsville which is really all that matters. I don't care if I live in a cardboard box it's gonna be a cardboard box in the Valley. Fall colors have started to set in as the leaves are changing and it is beautiful. I saw a Mama Moose and her baby on my way to work on Monday. I would not trade those experiences for the world. Hope everyone has had a great summer. Hopefully I'll get back on this blogging band wagon and post some pics soon. Peace. Heidi

Awww! Spring!
Well my favorite time of year has finally arrived (knock on wood) at least for today anyway. All the signs of spring are popping up everywhere giving me hope that it is here to stay. Tulips and daffodils coming out, grass is turning green and the reservoir is almost thawed completely. I can't wait to sit out on the porch at night and listen to all the peace and quiet that comes with the serenity of living in the country. Of course the VERY best part of all of this is all the new life that has began here in the valley during the last couple of weeks, not just the grass and flowers but all of the baby animals! We are surrounded by newborns! Foals, birds, lambs, goats, cows, kittens you name it, it's a baby and it's around here. I just love it! I think I was some sort of animal in a previous life because I just can't get enough of them. I'm sure Andee has inherited my disease but the more I have seen how amazing these animal's react to her the more suprised I am. It's like she has a gift with animals, whether it's a Dr. Doolittle type gift or a Bruce Almighty type gift I'm not sure but something about her attracts these babies and puts them at ease and they want to be around her. Incredible. Greyson is just loving being outside and shooting his BB gun, I'm just loving that he has space to do it without shooting my neighbors house. On a heavier note, my boss Dr. Bruce Engleby has just recently been diagnosed with Cancer. He had surgery today to remove a tumor and so far things are going well, considering. Dr. Engleby has played a HUGE role in my life in helping me to realize my dreams, my "calling" in life and I will always be grateful for him. Please say your prayers for this amazing man and his family that he will overcome this hurdle. Happy Spring everyone, 10 day forcast looks GREAT!!!!

Yea Spring!
We have FINALLY settled into our new house (mostly) and the snow is melting away and we are seeing signs of spring. Fly's and Bee's buzzing around, pieces of the grass are starting to show and birds flying around are really getting us excited. We have still had a couple of snow storms but nothing significant enough to dash our springtime hopes. Greyson has started Boy Scouts and he is really excited about that, mostly because his uniform has wolves on it and his current obsession happens to be wolves. Andee is doing great and she is looking forward to beginning Girl Scouts as soon as I figure it out. I hope things will start settling down now that we are finally settled in our house, I hate living in the chaos that we have been living in for the past couple of months and I think that has put a damper on the way I have felt about this new house. I just haven't felt settled but moving in the winter is the WORST possible time to move if you ask me. It's always cold & depressing. Now that I can start to see what I'm dealing with I am feeling better about it. We really miss the neighbors but there are really great neighbors over here too and we are literally just down the road but down the road in the country can be kind of a ways. As soon as the snow melts and we can assess the situation we will decide what kind of animals to put up here on our farm, Maybe a gazelle Wendy? What do you think? That is an inside joke for my sister.....too long to blog about. Greyson and Andee have been out riding their bikes the past few days, it has been very warm!! Happy Easter to everyone! Talk to you soon! Heidi
